As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy and its partnership with Qatar Charity, Floward, the go-to online flowers and gifts delivery destination in MENA and UK, has taken part in the “Ramadan of Hope” campaign in Qatar during the holy month of Ramadan.

Floward donated more than 3,000 meals to the mobile Iftar project from the "Ramadan of Hope" campaign, which includes distributing meals to motorists and pedestrians in several places in conjunction with the Maghrib call to prayer. A team from the company volunteered in distributing meals during crowded times, which coincides with the time of Iftar at several locations to reach the largest number of beneficiaries.

The project helps people on the road during Iftar time to break their fast and contributes to reducing the high speeds that some people drive to reach their homes in times for Iftar. It is known that this period records high rates of traffic accidents compared to the rest of the day during Ramadan.

Floward Chairman and CEO, Abdulaziz B. Al Loughani said: “We would like to wish Qatar and its people Ramadan Kareem and wish them peace and prosperity in the years to come. We are proud of our partnership with Qatar Charity and are always keen to take part in their charitable campaigns that benefit our community in Qatar and we’re happy to take part in this campaign to help those in need break their fast. We’d like to thank Qatar Charity for all their humanitarian efforts in Qatar and around the world.”
