The student council members of MES Indian School for the academic year 2022-23 were sworn in recently. The inductees include school appointees, prefects, club secretaries, house captains, scouts and guides, cubs and bulbuls, campus care force representatives, and band captains.
The major student officials are Mohammed Faiz bin Abdulla (junior head boy), Safa Fathima (junior head girl), Hazem Haris (senior head boy), Sehla Kabeer (senior head girl).
School vice president and chief guest A P Khaleel and co-curricular and cultural activities director and guest of honour M C Muhamed distributed badges to the newly-elected office-bearers of the student council. Principal Hameeda Kadar, vice-principals and heads of sections, school officials, teachers, and students were present.
Head boy Hazem Haris led the oath-taking ceremony. Students took out a march past under the flags of the four houses - Blue, Green, Red and Yellow. Earlier, teacher representative Rizwa Fathima welcomed the gathering, and head girl Sehla Kabeer proposed a vote of thanks.
