Expatriate environmental organisation Chaliyar Doha hosted an Iftar party. Representatives from 24 panchayats, council members, executive members, community leaders, women and children, political, religious, social, cultural, and media personalities, and other invited guests attended the event, which conveyed the message of fraternity and friendship. Chaliyar Doha president Zameel Abdul Wahid Chaliyam presided. Ali International general manager and a prominent figure in Qatar's social, cultural, and charitable sectors, Mohammad Isa, opened the Iftar ceremony. Chaliyar Doha secretariat/executive/council office-bearers and members Ameen Kodiyathur, Unnikrishnan Vazhayoor, Unni Moin Keezhuparambu, Akshay Kadalundi, Haneefa Chamayil Chaliyam and Tajuddin Beypore, Muhsina Zameel Chaliyam led the programme. General secretary C T Sidhique Cheruvadi welcomed the gathering and treasurer Jabir Beypore proposed a vote of thanks.
