Paris Saint-Germain, who recently won the French Ligue 1 for the tenth time, will visit Doha on May 15 and 16. The tour originally scheduled last January will be an opportunity for the Parisians to meet their Qatari supporters and take part in a series of events organised with the Club’s partners present in Qatar, such as ALL, Aspetar, Ooredoo, Qatar Airways, Qatar Tourism and QNB. The team will fly out after their Ligue 1 match against Montpellier.
The trip to Qatar – a country that is getting ready to host the football World Cup later this year – is an opportunity to shine the spotlight on the innovative features of the country’s sports facilities.
The team’s players will visit two of the stadiums built especially for the event. Several of the players will take part in a live feed on Instagram with Qatar Airways, to show as many viewers as possible around these football venues.
Over the last ten years, Qatar has welcomed various Paris Saint-Germain tours, such as the Qatar Handball Tour in 2014 and 2015, the Qatar Ladies Tour in 2015, and the Qatar Tour in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022.
