With an objective to promote environmental awareness and sensitise students on the need for protection of the planet, MES Indian School commemorated ‘The Earth Day' on April 24 under the theme ‘Together, We Can Restore Our Earth’.
A special assembly saw students presenting items including speeches, skits, group songs, and role-play.
An array of fun-filled and creative activities such as colouring worksheets based on the Earth Day theme - ‘ Earth Day Promise Hands’, ‘Earth Day Hand Print Craft’, ‘Slogan Writing’, poster designing on the theme ‘Importance of Planting Trees’, power point presentations glorifying Mother Earth and depicting the slow degradation of earth, Collage on ‘Save Our Mother Earth’, were organised.
Principal Hameeda Kadar appreciated the efforts of students and urged them to be grateful to the Mother Earth for all its bountiful gifts in the form of flora and fauna.
