MES marks International Workers' Day

To acknowledge and uplift the diligent hands of the working community, MES Indian School observed International Workers’ Day on May 1. Students and staff took part in a special virtual morning assembly. Students were enlightened about the contribution of labourers to the society and how they are the key components of the growing economy. Thought-provoking speeches by the students and teachers highlighted the dignity of each profession, and the manner one must respect every job irrespective of its nature.Students expressed their gratitude to Covid-19 warriors, especially doctors, nurses and frontline health workers.
As a tribute to the dedication of the working community, students attired as engineers, nurses, doctors, teachers, drivers, maids and guards expressed their gratitude by presenting self-made badges and 'Thank You' cards, besides displaying placards and posters to highlight the role that each of them play in the welfare of the society. The special assembly left a significant impact on students and enabled them to show reverence and love for various professions.
