Qatar participated on Tuesday in a meeting of ambassadors of the Gulf Co-operation Council countries to the European Union with European officials, QNA reported from Brussels. Qatar was represented at the meeting by Qatar's ambassador to the European Union and Nato Abdulaziz bin Ahmed al-Malki.
On the European side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Managing Director for Middle East and North Africa at the European External Action Service of the European Union Carl Hallergard, and Chair of the Delegation for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula in the European Parliament Hannah Neumann. The meeting reviewed co-operation between the GCC countries and the European Union.
