MES overall champions at SOP athletic meet

MES Indian School won the overall championship in the the SOP (School Olympic Programme) boys’ athletic meet with nine gold, seven silver and two bronze medals. The event at Aspire Dome for all private and public schools in Qatar was organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Omar Salem, Nihal Hakkim, Mohamed Roshan, Nikhil Manojkumar, Nidal T Yehiya, Joel Shibu, Abdul Rahman Beig, Ameen and Khaleed S won gold medals. Nidal T Yehiya, Joel Shibu, Omar Salem, Mohamed Roshan, Jasem Ali Akbar, Nihal Hakkim and Mohamed Adil secured silver medals, while Syed Fayezuddin and Mohamed Roshan won bronze medals. The school principal Hameeda Kadar appreciated their outstanding performance.
