Qatar Airways celebrated Oryx International School’s first graduation and prize giving ceremony on Wednesday. The event was attended by the graduate’s families, Qatar Airways Board Members, and faculty staff, who applauded the 21 graduates of Class of 2022 as they walked the stage and collected their certificates.
Oryx International School is an exclusive independent school for the children of the airline’s employees and its approved subsidiaries, offering the highest standard of facilities and the best British International education in a safe, caring and welcoming environment, a statement explained.
As of May 2022, there are approximately 1,600 students enrolled at the school, which has operated in partnership with Orbital Education since 2016 and offers a modified version of the National Curriculum of England, from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 13.

In April 2019, Oryx International School inaugurated its iconic new, purpose-built Mesaimeer campus. The school was initially located near the airline’s headquarters on Old Airport Road.
Owned by Qatar Airways and managed by Orbital Education, Oryx International School offers several facilities to ensure that the best academic curriculum is offered to all students. These facilities are state-of-the-art, with highly equipped science, technology, and robotics services. Oryx students also benefit from a first-class physical education facility that offers a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, basketball court, and several other designated
