HE the Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad al-Nabit participated in the 10th consultative meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), which was held in Riyadh. The meeting, which was attended by a number of senior officers in the Qatari armed forces, discussed a number of decisions and recommendations that enhance defence co-operation among the GCC countries.
On the sidelines of the meeting, HE al-Nabit accepted the invitation to a luncheon hosted for the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the GCC countries, in the presence of GCC Secretary-General Dr Nayef Falah Mubarak al-Hajraf. It is noteworthy that, upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport yesterday, HE al-Nabit was received by Chief of the General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed al-Ruwaili.
