ICC Students' Forum holds farewell event

The event was attended by principals of various Indian schools, students, parents, teachers and ICC managing committee members.
Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) Students' Forum bid farewell to a group of 15, Grade 12 student members who are leaving Qatar for their future educational pursuits.
The event was attended by principals of various Indian schools, students, parents, teachers and ICC managing committee members. ICC president P N Baburajan appreciated the Students' Forum contributions and expressed best wishes and a bright future. The event was presented live on FB and YouTube. The chief guest, MES Indian School principal Hameeda Kadar urged the students to respect their roots, and their parents and be sensitive towards their feelings.The guest of honour, Bhavan's Public School principal M P Philip appreciated the ICC for providing a creative platform for all Indian students to learn and grow. The students leaving Qatar in their pursuit of higher education, were presented with mementos as token of appreciation for their contributions to ICC.ICC head of activity co-ordinator and education Kamla Thakur made the opening remarks. Fathima Tuz Zahra anchored the event. On behalf of the Students' Forum, Kaviyaha Ananda welcomed the gathering and Sejal Varma proposed a vote of thanks.
