Karwa announces changes in bus routes

Mowsalat (Karwa) has added some new routes while removing some old ones. The changes will be in place from June 12. An official statement said that the changes are initiated in line with the decision to close Al Ghanim Bus Station permanently from June 15.

During the coming weeks, the Karwa Public Bus Network will be improved and new bus stations are set to be opened. From June 12, the routes that will be added with 15 minutes of frequency are L521, L522, L538 and L542 while routes R701, R706, R707, R709 and R710 will be operated with a frequency of 45 minutes. Route T613 will be operated with a frequency of 30 minutes.From the same date, routes 11, 31, 41, 76, 102, 104, 109, 119, 129, 136, 137, 170, 727 104A, 136A and 137A will be removed.Mowasalat (Karwa) has advised passengers to and plan their journey ahead with the route planner and maps section on the Karwa Bus App.To view the upcoming new bus routes, one has to download the Karwa Bus App or visit http://qrs.ly/rydsp08.
