IIS organises an art and craft exhibition

The exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest Muhammad Khalid al-Kubaisi, member of the school managing committee.
Ideal Indian School organised an art and craft exhibition, Art Waves, showcasing a variety of students’ self-expressions.
The exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest Muhammad Khalid al-Kubaisi, member of the school managing committee.Artist Mahesh Kumar and Qatar Scouts & Guides Association officials Ahmed Khamis B al-Yousef, Muna Jumah al-Mansouri, Yacub Jaber Y Bushawareb and Ali Khalil Ibrahim al-Mohannadi were the guests of honour. The function was presided over by school president Dr M P Hassan Kunhi. Principal Syed Shoukath Ali and other officials were present.The event showcased paintings, drawings, installations, jewellery, glass painting, fabric, organic, and best out of waste, collage, mosaics, charcoals, knitting, embroidery, clay models, paper mache and other craftwork created by students under different themes.Each class took turns to view the paintings and crafts exhibited.
On the second day, the exhibition was open to parents. Works of art by parents and teachers were also on display. Art and craft teachers Khazi Abdul Ghani, Firoz Khan, Mohamed Sadaf Husain, Syed Yousuf Husaini and Mohammad Shawan organised the exhibition and art department head Anvar M K co-ordinated the programme. Boys' section cultural secretary Ebenezer welcomed the gathering and head girl Hanin Shamsheer proposed a vote of thanks. Tanu Madhvi and Anjali compered the event.
