Tulukoota Qatar marks occasion with sapling exchange event

Indian expatriate forum Tulukoota Qatar celebrated World Environment Day with a sapling exchange event. President Kiran Anand welcomed the gathering. A workshop was organised for children. Resource person Shreya Suraj taught them to convert wastepaper into creative art pieces. More than 150 saplings were exchanged among members. Jute bags were also distributed. Rock painting was held for adults and kids. The forum also held a tree planting at Qatar Finland International school. Anand explained the selection of the venue as the school has been taking care of the trees planted in the past. Subramanya Hebbagelu, Milan Arun, Deepak Shetty, Anil Boloor, Ramchandra Shetty, Asmath Ali, Mahesh Gowda, Fayaz Ahmed, Raghunath Anchan, Naveen Dsouza, Imran, and Della Rego were present.
