The Health Control Department at Al Wakra Municipality held a workshop on food safety and the requirements that must be met by food establishments. The event was organised in connection with World Food Safety Day. The workshop was presented by engineer Khaled al-Saleh in the presence of a number of officials in Al Wakra Municipality and representatives of local food establishments. It dealt with a number of axes related to how to preserve food in a safe and sound manner, raising awareness of the necessary health requirements, and providing a detailed explanation of the various procedures to be followed in order to prevent food-borne diseases to ensure the health of community members.
