Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced Wednesday that the bank's deposit rate (QCBDR) will be raised by 75 basis points to become 2.25%. QCB also raised the bank's lending rate (QCBLR) by 50 basis points to become 3.25%.
In the same context, QCB decided to raise the (QCB Repo Rate) by 75 basis points to become 2.50%. QCB said, in a statement, that the decision to raise the interest rate was based on local and international economic data.
