A total of eight students from Qatar University's Public Health Department presented their research graduation projects recently. Lama al-Jindi and Naeema al-Sulaiman presented 'Barriers to Tobacco Cessation Services among Qatar University Students: A Qualitative Approach', supervised by Dr Ghadir Aljayyousi. The second project by Fatemeh Nejad, Roudha Alnasr, and Aisha Alansari, on 'Predicting Sepsis from ICU clinical data using artificial intelligent based machine learning model,' was supervised by Dr Mohammed Fasih Alam. He also supervised the last project, 'Covid-19 infections and deaths in Gulf Co-operation Council countries: Trends and associated socio-economic and interventional factors,' which was presented by Fatimah Alkhowar, Shouq al-Mohannadi and Manal al-Mansoori.
