His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Monday morning at the Amiri Diwan the President of the Republic of Namibia Hage Geingob, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country to participate in the Qatar Economic Forum 2022.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various fields, especially investment and energy, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by HE the Chief of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi and HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
On the Namibian side, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Mines and Energy Tom Alweendo and the Minister of Finance Ipumbu Shiimi.
