Ooredoo customers travelling this summer will be able to access voice and data connectivity without incurring expensive roaming charges, with the telco leader’s reach extending further across the globe, a statement said.
Customers can access a simple, comprehensive roaming package – Ooredoo Passport – and a number of new networks in countries including Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Panama and many more have been added to Ooredoo’s Passport Partners list.
An Ooredoo Passport offers stress-free roaming in a wide range of countries with 1GB data and 100 minutes. Customers can activate an Ooredoo Passport before they travel but, if they forget, a Passport will automatically be activated once roaming charges reach QR100.
Qatarna customers already have a generous roaming data allowance included in their tariff plans and can stay connected when they travel in countries with partner networks.
Customers can find all details and a full list of partner networks and countries at www.ooredoo.qa/roaming.
Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari – Director PR at Ooredoo - said: “We’re delighted that travel has once again resumed after the pandemic, and proud to be able to help our customers with their roaming needs.
