His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met in his office at the Amiri Diwan Wednesday with Saudi Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and his accompanying delegation during their visit to Qatar.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud to HH the Amir, and their wishes of enduring health and happiness to His Highness, and to the people of Qatar, further progress and prosperity.
HH the Amir entrusted Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud with his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, and his wishes to both of them for continued health and well-being, and to the brotherly Saudi people for lasting progress and prosperity.
They discussed the robust fraternal relations between the two countries and avenues for strengthening and advancing them. They further discussed the latest regional developments and the ongoing efforts addressed toward them, alongside a range of issues of mutual concern.
His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, alongside a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, attended the meeting. Also in attendance from the Saudi side were a host of Their Excellencies, members of the accompanying delegation.
