Cabinet refers draft law on regulating real estate registration to Shura Council

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at the Amiri Diwan Wednesday.Following the meeting, HE the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Sulaiti issued the following statement:At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet conveyed its congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Adha, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and for Qatar, its honourable people and those residing further development and prosperity under the wise leadership of the Amir, and for Arab and Islamic nations security, peace and stability.After that, the Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda as follows:First: Approval of the following two draft laws, and their referral to the Shura Council:a. A draft law regulating real estate registration.b. A draft law regarding documentation.Second: Approval in principle of the proposal of HE Chairman of Qatar Tourism to amend some provisions of each of the following:* Law No 20 of 2018 regulating tourism.* Law No 21 of 2018 regulating business events.* Amiri Decision No 15 of 2021 regarding the establishment of Qatar Tourism.Third: Approval of a draft decision of HE Minister of Commerce and Industry to amend some provisions of Resolution No 161 of 2017 regarding the general and special requirements that must be met in similar commercial, industrial and public stores.Fourth: Approval of a draft agreement on mutual exemption from entry visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, special, official and ordinary passports between the government of Qatar and the government of Mongolia.Fifth: Approval of the draft of the first executive programme for the agreement on co-operation in the cultural field between the governments of Qatar and Peru for the years 2022, 2023, 2024.Sixth: The Cabinet reviewed the following two issues and took the appropriate decision:1. A memorandum by HE Minister of Municipality regarding the results of his visit to the United States of America in May 2022 to develop aspects of co-operation between the countries.2. A memorandum by HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change regarding the results of the 24th meeting of GCC ministers responsible for environmental affairs in April 2022, via video-conferencing.Seventh: The Cabinet, through the presentation made by HE Minister of Education and Higher Education, reviewed a study on institutional evaluation of the education system.The study included the objectives of the institutional evaluation project for the education system, including dividing it into three stages: the diagnosis stage, the intervention design stage, and the integrated plan preparation stage and project completion.The study showed the results of the diagnosis stage and concluded with a set of solutions at the student, school and ministry levels, and the necessary steps for implementation.
