‘The Smurfs – Live on Stage’ show will conclude Saturday at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall after regaling capacity audiences over three days with an impressive performance, featuring the popular tiny blue creatures, as well as ‘the evil wizard Gargamel and the puppeteers’. Eight Smurfs characters, including Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Brainy Smurf and the adorable Smurfette, entertained the audience and provided a unique and fascinating show for families and children.
The shows are part of the ‘Summer in Qatar’ campaign, along with earlier ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Aladdin and the Magic Lamp’ cirque shows. They are organised by Alchemy Project Entertainment in cooperation with Qatar Tourism, Qatar Airways and Ooredoo. PICTURES: Shaji Kayamkulam.
