The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with the Ministry of Interior (MoI), carried out a joint inspection campaign on a retail outlet operating without a commercial licence at a house in Msheireb. The ministry stressed that it would not tolerate any negligence in terms of meeting obligations stipulated in Law No 8 and its executive by-laws.The ministry is working to intensify its inspection campaigns to control violating practices, and to refer violators of laws and ministerial decisions to the competent authorities to take the due measures.
