Doha, the capital of world sports, continues to impress by completing all preparations well before the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in an achievement rarely seen since the inception of the mega football tournament. The pace of preparations in Qatar was not borne of the moment, but began a long time ago, through tight coordination between all parties in order to provide an exceptional experience that allows football fans from different countries of the world to enjoy a unique experience in Qatar, which pledged to provide an unprecedented version of the World Cup, after raising the stakes by promising the first carbon-neutral FIFA World Cup tournament that takes into account the principle of sustainability. Besides, Qatar seeks to highlight its cultural face and aesthetic legacy during the World Cup. With the celebrations taking place in Qatar, on the occasion of the 100 days to go until Qatar hosts the FIFA World Cup, the country has intensified its distinctive efforts to make the event, which will be held from November 20 to December 18 this year, a huge success.Qatar is expected to receive more than a million fans who will experience the Arab traditions of hospitality and generosity.The streets of Doha and its buildings are decorated beautifully with bright colours , slogans and welcome signs painted on the facades of towers in the Dafna area, and across the country. The development of the logos comes in line with the Zeina initiative, launched by the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places ,in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Legacy and Delivery (SC) and a number of ministries.The Zeina initiative calls for beautifying buildings, fences and outdoor areas, implementing works of art, drawings and beautiful lighting to highlight Qatar's cultural identity, and making the World Cup a special event. There will also be a competition in which the winners will receive valuable financial prizes. The Qatar News Agency building is one of the buildings marked with the slogan "EXPLORE" in Arabic and English, stretching along the building, and it can be seen from all sides.The building of the Qatar Olympic Committee has been decorated in the colours of "ALADAAM", in support of the Qatari national team at the World Cup. Through the poster, which carried the image of the veteran captain Hassan al-Haidous, a message was sent to the Qatari fans to encourage the team to achieve outstanding results. As for the Al Bidda tower parking building, it is decorated with the flags of the 32 participating countries, Qatar, Senegal, Ecuador, the Netherlands, England, Iran, the USA, Wales, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland, France, Australia, Denmark, Tunisia, Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, Japan, Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia, Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon, Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea. As for the mascot of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, "La'eeb" , has registered its presence in all areas of Doha, where it symbolises a cheerful character who came from a virtual world and have a spirit of adventure, exploration and assistance.The hilarious cartoon character "La'eeb" will be everywhere to welcome football fans from around the world. La'eeb who carries the qualities of courage and inspiration, can break the barriers of time and space to move from one place to another around the world. "Dawhat AlKhair" has succeeded in sending messages of reassurance to all visitors from the region of its ability to receive and host all arrivals, whether in hotels or homes, in fan villages equipped with all amenities, or even through ships that will dock at seaports.Focus on the smallest details was Qatar's style , as it did in previous world events that the country excelled in organising to international acclaim, such as: the 2019 World Athletics Championships with the participation of more than 2,000 athletes from different countries of the world, the organisation of the Gulf Cup (Khaliji 24), the World Handball Championship in 2015, in addition to the Athletics Diamond League, the World Boxing Championship, the Qatar International Swimming Championship, the World Athletics Championships for the disabled, and other tournaments. Qatar has successfully completed its preparations for the world's largest football celebration, and is ready to open its doors to the esteemed guests, inviting them to live an unprecedented pleasant experience that will remain engraved in their minds.
