Adhidev Kolath Madathil (VIII-I) ) of MES Indian School has entered the India Book of Records in the 'Extraordinary Feat, Extraordinary People’ category for floating in the ocean near Qatar's Dukhan beach. A native of Kozhikode in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Adhidev stayed afloat in the ocean for a record time of seven minutes and 23 seconds at the age of 12 years and 10 months, as confirmed on June 28, 2022 by India Book of Records. “It is indeed a proud moment for MES Indian School," principal Hameeda Kadar said while congratulating the achiever.
