The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has stressed the need for children to follow safety measures on school buses. "To ensure the safety of our children during their trips to and from school, please make them aware of necessary safety measures. Their safety is our priority," the ministry tweeted.
In a related infographic, the MoI explained the safety measures: wait for the bus in a safe area visible to the bus driver; do not stand behind the bus; be calm inside the bus and avoid moving and playing; follow the instructions of the bus superviser; never distract the driver; do not tamper with windows and the emergency exit; and maintain the queue while boarding and getting off the bus.
