NHRC chairperson meets US State Dept official

HE the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Maryam bint Abdullah al-Attiyah met on Monday with Deputy Director of the US Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons in the US State Department Brian Marcus. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and the necessity of activating mechanisms of co-operation and the exchange of experiences and expertise in human rights in general and counter-trafficking in human beings in particular.
