Daily average of Covid cases in Qatar drops to 611

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reported, in its weekly Covid-19 report for the August 15-21 period, a daily average of 611 cases -- 532 in the community and 79 among travellers. This marked a continued decrease in Covid-19 cases over the previous weeks. The MoPH had recorded 716, 787, 883 and 1,014 cases in the previous weeks, respectively. Following are the highlights of the weekly report published by the ministry for the August 15-21 period:
