QIIB launches “Google Pay” to all customers today

Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) has announced the launch of the latest Contactless Payment Solution, Google Pay – a service allowing our Customers to carry out Credit or Debit Card transactions by simply using their Android, iOS and WearOS Devices safe and securely, without the need to reach for their wallets.

The globally accepted Google Pay app offers ease and is a convenient Digital Payment method. Customers can simply Tap to Pay anywhere Google Pay is accepted. The process is quick and efficient, where transactions are completed and processed as soon as the Customer’s device is presented to the POS.  The Service allows for peace of mind, as the multiple layers of security protocols and procedures, protect a Customer’s payment information.

Customers can now enjoy access to their Digital Wallet in a few simple steps. Once Google Wallet is downloaded from the Google Play Store, users can select “Add to Wallet”, follow the on screen instructions and input the Credit or Debit Card details to start utilizing the service. 

After completing the registration process on Google Pay, Customers will be able to easily complete POS payments, by simply unlocking their device and presenting it to the POS. Additionally, Customers can utilize this service when carry our Online and in App purchases where available.
