The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at Qatar University (QU) is offering an Executive Master's Programme in Leadership, it was announced .
A memorandum of understanding between QU and the Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) covers the curriculum of the Arabic programme, accredited by the US-based International Association for the Advancement of Colleges of Business.
"This programme targets graduates of the national leadership programmes at the QLC,” CBE dean Prof Rana Sobh said. QLC director general Dr Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Kuwari noted that the programme is designed with an innovative methodology that focuses mainly on developing leadership and executive skills to enhance professional capabilities in various business sectors.
CBE's Research and Graduate Studies associate dean Prof Dr Belaid Aouni, said the programme is specifically designed for leaders, managers, and professionals who wish to deepen and develop theoretical concepts of leadership and to link these theories with practical reality so that the primary goal is the formation of human competencies.
A total of 30 Qatari and non-Qatari students were accepted to the programme, which started on August 21.
