Qatar Charity (QC) has launched a voluntary programme to capitalise on the expertise and skills of specialists in economic, social, cultural, educational, and health fields. The program aims to deliver a variety of community services and provide solutions to numerous problems through expert volunteers.
QC, through this programme, seeks to promote a culture of voluntary work among the specialists and to strengthen the values of social communication and social responsibility to deliver several specialised community services.
The programme, in its first phase, aims to recruit trainers, lawyers and financiers, and in the second phase, teachers, IT specialists, and other specialised professionals.
“This programme stems from Qatar Charity’s belief in the importance of concerted efforts, employing capabilities in implementing its projects and programs, and attracting volunteers from all sections of the community, especially young people, to benefit from their capabilities,” said Abdul Rahman al-Hajri, director of the Programmes and Community Development department at QC.
Al-Hajri called on people specialised in different disciplines to register in the voluntary programme of QC to give part of their time to voluntary activities. Interested persons can register through the link https://qch.qa/QC2022.
