The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of Ras Abu Abboud Street’s service road towards Hamad International Airport (HIA) from 1am to 10am on August 27 and from 1am to 5am on August 28. The closure, which will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has been announced to complete the construction of a pedestrian bridge serving Stadium 974. During the closure, road users wishing to go to HIA will be required to continue on Ras Abu Abboud Street to reach their destination, Ashghal has said on Twitter.
