Nikhil Manoj Kumar from class XII of MES Indian School has qualified to represent Kerala state for the south zone athletic meet by winning a silver medal in hammer throw and bronze in shot-put in the under-18 boys category of the 17th Kerala State Inter-District Club Athletic Competition earlier this month. The south zone athletic meet will be held at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on September 9. MES principal Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winner and wished him success at the zone-level competition.
