Oh Meri Mehbooba music event held

Indian expatriate forum Koyilandy Koottam Global community Qatar chapter concluded its Khayali Season 5 with Oh Meri Mehbooba music nite featuring hits by the late legendary singer Mohamed Rafi.

Doha's well-known Rafi singers graced the stage in addition to 10 new singers selected from 55 entries. Sunil Eramaka, Mashhood Thangal, Mythili Shenoy, Ashiq Mahi and Riyaz Babu were among the performers.The final part of the programme was an expression of solidarity with FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. A fusion dance was the highlight.Earlier, chapter chairman Faisal Moosa welcomed the gathering. President Mansoor Ali presided. Socio-cultural activist Raof Kondotty and Koyilandy Koottam global chairman Shihabuddeen were honoured. Community leader S A M Basheer shared his memories of the inimitable singer. R J Ratheesh, progamme committee convener Sujith Sreedhar, secretary Shabeej, vice president Sajid Baker, co-ordinator Ranjith Nair, Dhanya Anil and Reshmi Sarath spoke.General secretary Anil Kumar Pookkad proposed a vote of thanks.Chairman Faisal Moosa, who has been leading the Qatar chapter for the last decade was honoured at the event. Sakeer Hussain Hala, Nisar Koyilandy, Sunil Meethal, Mansoor P K, Junaid Ambatteri, Jaisal Kidkashi, Naufal Jamal, Ashik Payoli, A K Muhammed, Shafeeque P A, Siraj Chittari, Gafoor Abdullah, M Jasir Ameen, Jabbar Nandi, Sameer Nangichat, Sunaid C, Hakeem, Munna, Firoz, Maksood, and Sarath C Nair etc controlled the programme.
