The Barwa Village and Barwa Village Expansion projects are seeing high occupancy rates, Waseef, a leading company in real estate, facilities and asset management, has said.
An official statement from Waseef on Monday noted that the occupancy rate for the shop lots of Barwa Village is about 88%, while it reached 99.5% for the apartments.
As for the Barwa Village Expansion project, the occupancy rate for the apartments is about 99.5%, and more than 70% for the shop lots.
The statement said that the two projects cater to the tenants' needs and the commercial ambitions of retail outlets.
“Barwa Village and its expansion meet the needs and aspirations of the 2022 World Cup fans who will live in Al Wakra and the nearby areas,” it said.
An integrated city that allowing for modern and comfortable lifestyles for residents, traders, and visitors, Barwa Village was built on 400,000sq m of land with designs inspired by local Qatar heritage.
The constructed area is 186,000sq m, consisting of 18 residential and commercial complexes, which offer 918 shops and various activities and 417 apartments.
