Lawyers Admission Committee meets

The Lawyers Admission Committee convened yesterday under the chairmanship of HE the Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohamed al-Ameri. The committee considered topics on its agenda, including oath-taking by seven new lawyers, and considering requests of the corresponding business practitioners on the roles of practising lawyers. The committee also considered the requests of a number of new lawyers whose training period had been completed, and interviewed a number of applicants to practise the profession. The committee reviewed a number of regulatory matters related to careers of the law profession, and the files presented for discussion, and took appropriate relevant decisions. (QNA)
