The Ministry of Municipality has announced the temporary closure of the Al Wakra family and public beaches and Al Farkiah beach for renovation and development. The beaches have been closed for two months each with the aim of developing the beaches to meet the needs of the public, according to notices posted by the ministry on social media. The closures came into effect on Wednesday and will continue until October 31. The announcements were made by the Ministry of Municipality, represented by Al Wakra Municipality and Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality, Project Management and Development, along with the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar.
