Nikhil Manoj Kumar from Class XII of MES Indian School will represent Kerala State in the National Youth Athletic Meet to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from September 17-19. He qualified by winning a silver in hammer throw with his personal best in the Kerala State Youth Athletic Meet on August 29. Nikhil is the only athlete to have qualified for both the South India and All India hammer throw competitions. Steeson K Mathew, teacher, Physical Education Department accompanied him at the Kerala meet. The school management and the principal have congratulated the winner and wished him success at the national-level competition.
