The junior section of MES Indian School marked ‘Multilingua Fest’. The event saw students presenting ‘Language Gala’, providing glimpses of languages such as Arabic, French, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. Students dressed up in the traditional costumes of their state/country and presented a quote, speech and a poem. The programme was followed by a ‘Unity Dance’ which conveyed the message of preserving the world’s linguistic diversity. Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar lauded the teachers and students for their efforts in spreading the importance of holding linguistic diversity and she reiterated the need to preserve multilingualism and universal harmony. Hanna Satheesh welcomed the gathering and Aadrinath proposed a vote of thanks. Farhana Nazeer and Remya Nandakumar compered the event. Arulmozhi Suresh, Noorjahan and Asadulla of the junior section co-ordinated.
