Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc is set to resume its services between Mohamed Fifth airport in Casablanca and Hamad International Airport in Doha with one daily flight, starting Monday.
It will operate a Boeing 787-9 aircraft with has a capacity of 302 seats, including 26 in Business Class. Royal Air Maroc’s operations to Doha had been suspended since March 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The flight will depart from Casablanca at 2.45pm and arrive in Doha at 12.15am the next day. From Doha, it will depart at 2.15am and arrive in Casablanca at 8.10am.
The chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc, Hamid Addou, insists on the importance of the carrier's strategic partnership with Qatar Airways, "which will provide our customers with more connections both to Asian destinations from the extensive network of our partner Qatar Airways, and to our African destinations”.
"This partnership will allow us to offer additional benefits to our customers in terms of quality of travel and service on board the planes of both airlines and on the most prestigious oneworld alliance network to which we are affiliated," he added.

Royal Air Maroc will be the only airline to operate a direct flight between Casablanca and Doha, an operation supported by a comprehensive codeshare agreement with shared passenger and Cargo capacity with Qatar Airways, thus strengthening the strategic co-operation signed in 2015 between both airlines, according to a press statement.
This partnership will allow both oneworld members to offer additional options, enhanced services and seamless connectivity to their common customers between
the African and Asian continents. Royal Air Maroc passengers can also enjoy the breadth of lifestyle offerings and services at the award-winning Hamad International Airport.
This daily flight will also allow Royal Air Maroc to fully play its role of transporting supporters of the Moroccan national football team to facilitate their travel, as well as fans from Africa, during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 that will be held from November 20 to December 18.
