Qatar Chamber reviews investment opportunities with Moldova

     

 

 

 

Qatar Chamber first vice chairman Mohamed bin Towar al-Kuwari recently held a meeting with Ion Ceban, the mayor of the Moldovan capital of Chisinau in presence of Moldova’s ambassador to Qatar, Victor Tvircun. The meeting touched on co-operation links between both countries and investment opportunities available in Moldova for Qatari investors. Al-Kuwari underscored both countries’ “distinct and fast-developing” relations, saying Qatari investors are keen on exploring investment opportunities in Moldova, expanding mutual investments, and developing trade exchange. He said the chamber is keen to boost co-operation of both countries’ business sectors and encourage Qatari firms to bolster co-operation with their Moldovan counterparts, in light of both counties ‘tremendous potential.” Ceban presented the investment opportunities in Chisinau city and key sectors that attract Qatari investors, as well as incentives being offered to investors. During the meeting, both parties agreed to hold a forum for businessmen from both countries via video conferencing to be followed by mutual visits.
