Labour minister in GCC meeting

 

 

 

HE the Minister of Labour Dr Ali bin Smaikh al-Marri participated Saturday in the 58th coordination meeting of the Council of Labour Ministers in GCC States, with the aim of coordinating matters on the agenda of the 48th session of the Arab Labour Conference, scheduled to be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Sept 18-19. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint coordination for the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in addition to coordination regarding the election of the Director-General of the Arab Labor Organisation during the 49th session of the Arab Labour Conference next year. The ministers also discussed matters related to the agenda of the 48th session of the Arab Labour Conference, and reviewed aspects of joint co-operation, and ways to support and develop them during the coming period.
