The Hayya portal now accepts accommodation bookings made on other websites for fans coming from abroad, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) has said.This was highlighted Tuesday as the SC introduced new options to validate the Hayya Card for applications with 'Pending Accommodation' status for fans staying with family and friends, using the Match Day Shuttle, or booking accommodation via third-party sites. * If you are staying with family and friends during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the host needs to follow these steps to receive your Hayya Card approval:1. Click Accommodation on the Hayya portal (https://hayya.qatar2022.qa/) and select 'Host Family & Friends'.2. Accept the terms and conditions.3. Enter the Qatar ID and validate.4. Fill in property address and guest details.5. Upload property deed or rental agreement.6. Validate * Those visiting Qatar for a day trip during the World Cup, and using the Match Day Shuttle service, need to follow these steps to arrange for their Match Day visit and complete the Hayya Card application:1. Click Accommodation and select 'Visit on Match Day'.2. Accept the terms and conditions.3. Enter you Match Day visit details.4. Submit. * For those who have secured their World Cup accommodation directly with a hotel or holiday rental company, the SC said the Hayya portal now accepts accommodation bookings made on other websites. Such individuals need to follow these steps to validate their accommodation and receive their Hayya Card approval:1. Click on the Accommodation tab.2. Accept the terms and conditions.3. Fill in the applicant and accommodation details.4. Upload the booking document.5. Click submit.In all cases, once approved, applicants will be able to use their digital Hayya Cards.
