The Ministry of Culture concluded its participation in the activities of the Riyadh International Book Fair, which was held from 29 September to 8 October 2022. The aim of the participation of the Ministry of Culture was to build relations with workers in the field of culture and the publishing industry, and to present Qatari intellectual production from the Ministry's publications and Doha Magazine. The Ministry of Culture's participation included the presentation of distinguished publications by a number of Qatari publishing houses, such as al-Watad Books and Publications House, Hamad Bin Khalifa University Publishing House, Katara Publishing House, Rosa Publishing House, and Samarkand Trading. Abdul Rahman al-Hitmi, the supervisor of the Ministry of Culture’s pavilion, praised the distinguished participation of the Ministry of Culture in the Riyadh International Book Fair, which was represented by displaying a variety of publications: 164 titles by al-Watad Publications House, cultural and other books in law, educational and children's books, as this is the first participation of the house in the Riyadh International Book Fair. He pointed out that the Ministry’s pavilion received a large number of visitors to the exhibition, intellectuals and those interested in Qatari culture and publications.
