Qatar Tamil Toastmasters recently held a Pattimandram (a humorous debate event) as a special public programme to mark 8th anniversary of the club. The topic was – Who efficiently manages the family - male or female spouse? The team of Vijay Anand, Vasanthi, Suresh Kumar and Abdul Halir debated in favour of male spouse and the team of Regina Gopalsamy, Shoba Raj, Ramani Ramamoorthy and Satheeshwaran Shivanesan in favour of female spouse. The debate was moderated and adjudged by Ramakrishnan. President Shoba Raj spoke. Past and present district leaders Thaylan, Ravishankar, Sabeena and senior members and guests Kumaran, Muthu Arulalan, Nirmala, Guru, Jothinathan and Qatar Tamil Sangam official Rama Selvam graced the occasion.
