The first Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS), taking place in Doha from October 5 to 14, 2023, will coincide with the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2023 on October 8, Qatar Tourism (QT) said on Friday.
GIMS Qatar 2023 will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) and several other prominent venues in the city over 10-days, offering car enthusiasts unforgettable and outstanding automotive experiences.
The event has been designed to become a cutting-edge, first-of-its-kind motor show, bringing together the biggest players of the global automotive industry into a truly immersive space, a QT statement explained.
The newly curated car festival will present the latest designs, innovation and automotive technology in the exhibitions of automobiles, first-time reveals and various test drives, including at the Lusail International Circuit.
A preview of the highly anticipated Qatar Auto Museum display, which will showcase one of the most remarkable car collections in the world from supercars and limited editions to racing and classic cars, will round off the programme.
