To emphasise traffic rules, Grade I of DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) conducted an activity to explain traffic rules such as appropriate times to cross a street and identify significant road signs and signals while travelling.
Children demonstrated road safety techniques by enacting a play-creating scene on the road.
In order to promote the Qatari national identity, Children were made familiar with the traffic police vehicles of Qatar - Lekhwiya and Al-azaa. Children were also made familiar with the traffic rules followed in Qatar.
This activity not only helped in strengthening the concepts, but also enabled sensory development, gross motor skills, self-esteem, self-expression and problem-solving skills in children.
Children participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the activity while learning about road safety.
