Access to the arrival and departure curbsides will be open to authorised vehicles only, which are Mowasalat (Karwa)’s limousines and taxis, authorised vehicles for persons with reduced mobility, vehicles transporting Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers, and select airport bus shuttles, a press statement noted.
Private vehicles will be able to drop off and pick up passengers only at the airport car park both at HIA and DIA.
The following car park charges will apply:
* HIA Short Term Car Park — QR25 for a maximum period of 30 minutes, and QR100 for every 15 minutes thereafter.
* HIA Long Term Car Park — QR 25 for a maximum period of 60 minutes, and QR100 for every 15 minutes thereafter.
Complimentary shuttle buses will be available from the car park to the HIA terminal.
* DIA Arrivals Car Park: QR25 for a maximum period of 30 minutes, and QR100 for every 15 minutes thereafter.
HIA offers passengers a wide variety of transport options that seamlessly connect the airport and the city.
The HIA bus pavilion, HIA taxi pavilions, Metro station, car parks, car rental and limousine services are all conveniently located within walking distance from the airport’s arrivals and departures hall.
