The population of Qatar jumped at the end of October 2022 by 13.6% year-on-year to reach 3,020,080 people, while it increased by 1.2% compared to September 2022.
The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) issued the preliminary monthly figures for the population as it was on October 31, 2022, indicating that this data represents individuals of all ages (Qatari and non-Qatari) within the borders of Qatar, and does not include Qataris outside the borders of the State, and non-Qataris and those who have residency but were outside the borders of the State at the time of preparing the statement on October 31.
