With distinguished features and entertainment spots, the Darb Lusail and Al Sa'ad Square are all set to welcome the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 fans, Qatari Diar announced.
Darb Lusail, which includes the Lusail Boulevard and the Show Square, consists of 18 buildings 1.3km away from Al Khor Coastal Road, providing an ideal modern life that blends with Qatar’s rich cultural fabric, a statement explained.

Qatari Diar CEO Engineer Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, said: “Despite all the challenges, we can say that Lusail City hosting the World Cup final is now fully prepared to welcome and dazzle the world during the World Cup. This is just the beginning. The World Cup will be a new exceptional start for Lusail City to become a comprehensive and distinguished destination in Qatar and the world."
The Darb Lusail project, built in the heart of Lusail City, is an independent urban community, planned according to the highest sustainable standards and extending over a floor area of more than 255,000sqm, he explained.

The Darb Lusail project has been designed to be relevant beyond the World Cup to serve the Lusail City. The 1.5km long street will have round-the-year cooling.
Darb Lusail will host several shows to entertain visitors and residents day and at night during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Restaurants and shops will be decorated. There will be a number of cultural and art performances throughout the tournament period.
These include drone shows on the commercial avenue of Darb Lusail highlighting the Qatari, Arab and international culture. Car rallies, shops and kiosks, 3D shows, live video shows, cultural events, children's activities, cinema and water shows are among the attractions.
Fans can spend quality time at Darb Lusail before and after matches, according to al-Attiyah. Transportation between Darb Lusail and Lusail Stadium will be provided by Tram and Metro. There will be limited parking for cars.
The Show Square will have a large theatre and other attractions, the Qatari Diar CEO said, adding that the opening hours will be from 10am to 3am.
